Dr. Ava Kamenshchik grew up on Long Island, earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. After dental school, Dr. Kamenshchik completed a one year General Practice Residency program affiliated with Stony Brook University Hospital. She was then accepted into the highly competitive residency program for orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at Stony Brook. Dr. Kamenshchik became a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontists in 2017, and then recently recertified her board status in 2026.
