Bonnie Lipow, DDS

Bonnie E. Lipow, DDS, is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of General Dentistry at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, where she also serves as the director of the Year III General Dentistry Clinic. She combines more than two decades of private practice experience with a commitment to educating and mentoring future dentists. Dr. Lipow earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry and completed a General Practice Residency at Stony Brook University Hospital. Her clinical and academic interests include comprehensive treatment planning, complex restorative dentistry, interdisciplinary care, and evidence-based clinical education. Additionally, she is a faculty facilitator with the Center for Interprofessional Innovation and directs the undergraduate course Dental Health and Your Body. Dr. Lipow has participated in international outreach providing dental care to underserved populations. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association and Suffolk County Dental Society.
