May 2018 - Charles D. Larsen, DMD, MS, Director, Advanced Education Program in Pediatric Dentistry, has been appointed to the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry Oral Clinical Examination (OCE) sub-committee to create new vignettes for the board examination process. He is 1 of 18 pediatric dentists nationally to be invited to be on this OCE sub-committee.
Additionally, Dr. Larsen has been appointed to be the Co-Director of the Cranial Facial and Cleft Lip & Cleft Palate team at Stony Brook University Hospital. His most recent case report, “Care of a 2-week old child with Cleft Lip and Cleft Palate,” was accepted for publication and will be included in upcoming oral board examinations.
Dr. Larsen has been a Diplomat and Fellow of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry since 2010 and has served as an examiner on the OCE committee for the past 5 consecutive years.
