Students who are accepted into the program are required to take the CITI Course in the Responsible Conduct of Research (http://www.stonybrook.edu/research/orc/rcr/index.shtml) and other training courses as appropriate to the research. In addition to the research itself, during the spring semester, you will be expected to write about and present your research at Student Research Day. Summer Fellows will prepare a 300 word abstract of their research, due at the beginning of February. They also represent the School of Dental Medicine by presenting their work in poster form at local and regional conferences during March and April.
