I studied the effect of endotoxin (LPS), derived from the periodontopathogen Porphyromonas gingivalis, on cytokine and chemokine expression in human mononuclear inflammatory cells in culture. My mentor is Dr. Ying Gu.
I participated in the poster session of the 2010 Leo Sreebny Dental Student Research Day and I presented my work at the Hinman Student Research Symposium (Fall 09’).
