| Clinical description: This 53 year old male presents with generalized enlargement of gingiva, focal palatal petechiae, and a three week history of extreme fatigue. Patient subsequently noted eruption of multiple cutaneous nodules of the face, neck, scalp, and chest. Diagnostic tests included: H&E, immunoperoxidase and histochemical stains, peripheral blood studies, flow cytometric analysis, and bone marrow biopsy. |

Upon clinical examination, you find the denture to be ill fitting and notice what is seen in clinical photo. You adjust his denture. Three days later he returns with findings on second photo. You perform a biopsy. |

| Clinical description: This 2 and a half year old male presents to your office with his parents. They are concerned about the color of the patient’s teeth. The parents would like to know if they are decayed and if the permanent teeth will be affected. |
| Clinical description: This 39 year old male was referred by his doctor for evaluation of the pigmented areas on the buccal mucosa. All other oral findings are within normal limits. Special stains reveal the presence of dendritic cells positive for HMB 45. |

His past medical history is significant for a left below the knee amputation. He is currently taking NPH Iletin I once per day, 1 baby aspirin per day and today he took the last pill of a 2 week course of ampicillin, 250mg q.i.d., given for a sinus infection. |
